For a number of years, since our first two books came out, we have been able to sell PDF copies of the AHA German Longsword Study Guide and Scottish Broadsword and British Singlestick in a non-automated, somewhat limited fashion. Then, for a few years, there was no longer any real demand or interest in these; but recently, we have received a number of requests for them again.

From the 1st of January 2025, sadly, we need to raise the prices for some of our older titles.
Since we published our first book back in 2013, the cost of printing our books has risen quite dramatically, the cost of doing business has increased, and £15 buys less than it used to due to inflation.
Not all of our books will be going up in price. Our more recent publications will be remaining at the same RRP. Some of the older books have not seen the same increases in printing costs, and so we are happy to keep them at the same RRP. We are trying to limit the price rises only to those titles where the cost of printing has made it difficult to keep going at the same RRP as before.
Any orders placed before the 1st of January will be honoured at the current prices. This might be a good opportunity to treat yourself if you have been thinking about buying one of our books but keep forgetting or putting it off for later!

Due to the Covid-19 lockdown across the UK, the warehouse in Glasgow where we store our stock and from which orders tend to be dispatched has closed for the foreseeable future to allow staff members to stay at home for the moment.
Nevertheless, we have a plan! We are able to remain open for business and to dispatch most orders.

When I was teaching at HEMAC Dijon 2017, there was a wonderful sight. In the hall where people left their baggage and where all the vendors set up their stalls, there was an entire wall of tables dedicated to publishing companies within the HEMA community. Five separate publishing companies had stalls next to each other, and it was incredibly rewarding to see that not only is there such a vast choice of reading material available to practitioners now, but also that most event participants lined up to look at the books and many people made purchases.
